Today I went to a Janazah ( Funeral Prayer ) - Quick Guide !

Asalaam and Hello !

' Today I went to a Janazah ( Funeral Prayer ) '

Today in my Town a Muslim Man passed away and after Asr prayer there was a funeral prayer held for him.

As I made my way to the Masjid with my Father and Brother we took quick steps to get their on time. As i walked in I could see fellow family members in tears and brothers with faces with not 1 smiling at this tragic moment. My heart was beating fast and as we were getting ready to pray Janazah ( Muslim Funeral Prayer) I lowered my head and thought about my death 1 day.

Then after Asr prayer came in through the gates a Coffin held with family members reciting ' La ila ha illallah ( There is no God but Allah- swt). I joined in with the recitation with fellow brothers and then proceeded the funeral prayers.

We all made a dua and were reminded that we are witnessing death here and we too will die 1 day and life is short, so make the best out of it.

After the dua we again recited ' La ila ha illallah ' and walked around the coffin which was opened so we could see the Man passed away. I saw his face and he looked peacefully sleep and I pictured myself in a coffin 1 day. My eyes moved on and saw a fellow brother in tears and a shocked face and from there after meeting him i silently moved on with a heartfelt moment.

MAY ALLAH(SWT) REMIND US MUSLIMS AND NON-MUSLIMS THAT DEATH IS CERTAIN AND WE TOO WILL DIE - SO LET US TAKE HEED AND PREPARE TO BE THE BEST OF HUMANS - AMEEN !

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un

( '' Verily we belong to Allah(swt), and to Allah(swt) we return '')

Peace.

The strongman and the war on terror !

The resignation of Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf is a sign of how the "war on terror" is changing.

Mr Musharraf was once the lynchpin of Pakistan's alliance with the United States in President George Bush's "war on terror", but the days of a single strongman laying down and executing the policy are gone.

Instead, a longer-term reliance on the emergence of democratic institutions to offer an alternative to extremism is taking place.

This partly explains why for the US and Britain, the departure of their former ally matters less than it once would have. His time came and went.

In the immediate aftermath of 9/11, President Bush drew up battle lines and President Musharraf stepped forward to take his place in the front line.

War on Terror changing

But today, al-Qaeda is seen as a weakened organisation, on the defensive in Iraq and unable to regroup in Afghanistan, while retaining its ambition and potential to cause real damage.

In such a situation, there is less need for battle cries against extremism - and more of a need for the building of representative governments - as in Iraq and now in Pakistan.

The "war on terror" is proving to be a generational struggle, similar perhaps to the Cold War, which saw communism in power across Russia, half of Europe and China for 50 years before it collapsed or significantly changed.

During that time, the Western democracies adopted a twin track approach - maintaining strong military power while developing a responsive form of government.

The same tactics are coming to prominence as the "war on terror" progresses.

Civilian leadership

In Mr Musharraf's place comes a civilian leadership, albeit in an unstable coalition government whose future is uncertain and whose ability to combat the extremism in the tribal areas is untested. Nobody yet knows who will be the next president.

But the coalition was the product of elections, not a coup, and therefore is now being projected by Washington and London as a surer basis for future action than the weakened Musharraf.

It is from the tribal areas, the US and Britain say, that Taleban fighters cross into Afghanistan where they present a real danger to Nato forces supporting the Afghan President, Hamid Karzai.

This link provides a major incentive for the US and UK to follow and - and try to influence - events in Pakistan so closely.

Role of military

A great deal also depends, as always in Pakistan, on the military. The army chief, General Ashfaq Kayani, has moved to align himself with the civilian leadership and not long ago reassigned some senior commanders appointed by Mr Musharraf as a signal of his intentions.

But the army still faces a huge task in the border regions.

Pakistan remains therefore at the heart of a region of concern for much of the world.

Alarming predictions that a nuclear-armed Pakistan would fall into the hand of Islamic fundamentalists, however, have not materialised.

* To some he might have been a hero but to most he was seen as Busharraf - A friend of America for supporting the war on Afghanistan. How-ever he is remembered will be different to different people but may he take time to repent and pray dearly to the king of all kings = Allah(swt) for helping America to go to war with Innocent Muslims that have been targeted. Pakistan has been in alot of mess lately with Bhuto also passing away, I hope in the coming days we can see a Man rising up who can put Islam first on the agenda - Insha Allah !

Preparing for Ramadan - 5 Tips - Quick Guide !

Asalaam and Hello !

Today the quick guide is on ... ' Preparing for Ramadan ' !

I hope we all are getting ready to prepare for the best of month in a year - Ramadan

Its only a matter of a few days now and Insha-Allah ( God-willing) we will return to the month of reflection and focus where great rewards can be attained.

Dear brothers and sisters in islam - here are 5 tips that can prepare us for the coming days of our heart welcoming - Ramadan ...

You could try fasting a few days earlier - If you are strong enough and have the ability, so your body gets used to the month of Ramadan but if you would rather wait and start on the first day of Ramadan then that too is excellent and rewarding.

Get In-touch with your family and friends - ( I know most of us are having problems in our generation - lol - My family is 1 but we have to remember that 1 of the minor signs of Judgement day is that family ties breaking up ) So Insha-Allah be the 1 with the big heart and atleast smile at relatives and friends and talk about the coming of Ramadan, so the build up gets exciting.

Get In-touch with your Masjid ! - Ah ! believe me brothers and sisters the best link you can have is staying in touch with your local Masjid (Mosque). 1) You will get a timetable of when to start and finish your fast according to the time frame in your area. 2) You will be given a time of when Taraweeh - (Ramdan nightly sunnah prayer ) will commence. 3) The most important 1 - you can establish a good relationship with your local Imam and its a duty of a Imam to lead and help the muslim community. Yup !

Take some days off work - Yesss your Job will Insha-Allah still be there but if you miss out on regular prayer and some Taraweeh prayers then that should be a heartful regret dear brother and sisters. So if possible ( dont fight with your boss as you might get fired - lol ) get permission to take some days off during Ramadan so you can be fit to pray and attend taraweeh prayers and also share a beautiful Ramadan experiance when getting together at the family table for Iftari. ( Ahhh Allah hu akbar ! - The best feeling during Ramadan ... Unity ! )

Encourage each other - '' Surely mankind is in great loss except those who exhort each other to good'' - ( Holy- Qur'an ) ... '' Love for ya brother for what you would love for yourself '' - Prophet Muhammad(saw). Brothers and Sisters in Islam ! Did our Allah(swt) put a heart in our bodies or a piece of rock ? Our Allah(swt) gave us a heart brothers and sisters - Lets use this heart and help and not compete. We made our hearts so firm that we love competing against each other. Well let me tell you this life is so short and we will go to our graves and you dont want to regret some thoughts and feelings when you get to a old-age and experiance the coming of death - forget that ! we could die tommorow... Its true is it not ? So stop that grudge and stop turning backs on each other. BRING BACK THE PROPHETS UMMAH ' WHERE WE STOOD SHOULDER TO SHOULDER AND SAID '' YOU WHATTTT TO THE WORLD AND THE THE DEVIL WHO DECIEVES US'' . WE ARE MUSLIMS - AL-HUMDU-LILLAH ! HELP EACH OTHER LIKE THE 1 BODY OF THE UMMAH WE ARE - INSHA-ALLAH ! - DONT DO IT FOR OTHERS BUT DO IT FOR THE SAKE OF ISLAM !!!

May Allah(swt) keep us alive for the coming days of Ramadan so we can attain more good deeds before our last breath. - Ameen !

A special thanks to - butterfly2729 - Masha-Allah for sharing the above video on Youtube.

Also Believer1984 and Team would like to congratulate all brothers and sisters for keeping the 15th of sha'ban fast. So Mubarak on that and Insha-Allah lets start preparing for Ramadan .

Peace !

Are you aware of 15th of Sha'ban ? - Quick Guide

Asalaam and Hello !

The month of Sha'baan enjoys a very special place in the Islamic Calendar because in this month lies a very auspicious night known as LAYLATUL- BARAA'AH (The Night of Emancipation; The night of Freedom from fire). The word Sha'baan means branches of good a'maal (deeds). - Source: EveryMuslim.net

FASTING IN SHA'BAAN:

In this month Nabi(sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) used to fast more than in the preceding months. Hadhrat Ayesha(radhiyallahu anha) reports that: " I never saw the Messenger of Allah(sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) fasting in a month so profusely as he did in the month of Sha'baan. He used to fast in that month leaving only a few days, rather, he used to fast almost the whole of the month." (Tirmizi)

However, Nabi(sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) advised in several other Ahaadeeth that when the (first) half of Sha'baan has passed, one should not fast (i.e. during the second half of the month). Ulama explain that one should not unduly exert and strain one's self by fasting much (in the second half), for fear of one's health deteriorating before Ramadhaan begins; instead one should rather build strength and prepare one's self for the fasts of Ramadhaan. However, should one have the strength and health, then it would be meritorious and virtous to keep fasts according to one's ability.

SPECIAL SIGNIFICANCE OF THE NIGHT OF BARAA'AH

On this night Allah's Special Mercy and Forgiveness descends upon His fortunate servants from the commencement of the night (i.e. from Maghrib) until dawn. Furthermore, the announcements seeking out those who want forgiveness well exceed those, which occur every other night of the year.

It is narrated from Hadhrat Abdullah bin Amr(radhiyallahu anhu) that Rasullullah(sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) said: "Allah looks with special attention towards His creation on the fifteenth night of Sha'baan and forgives all His servants except two categories of people, the person who harbors enmity(hatred) and a murderer." ( Imam Ahmad reports this Hadith with a slightly weak chain of narrators- Targhib-wat-Tarhib)

Hadhrat Uthmaan bin Abil 'Aas(radhiyallahu anhu) narrates that Rasullullah(sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) said: : "On the fifteenth night qf Sha'baan Allah's (special mercy) descends to the nearest heavens. Thereafter, a proclaimer announces:" Is there anyone who seeks forgiveness so that I may forgive him? Is there anyone who desires anything so that I may grant his wishes? Allah thus fulfills the requests of all accept the adulteress and idolator." ( Baihaqi has reported this Hadith -Durre Manthur Page 27 Vol.6)

UNFORTUNATE PEOPLE

According to the Ahaadeeth, certain people are deprived of Allah's mercy even on this auspicious night. These unfortunate souls are:
1) Those who ascribe partners unto Allah.
2) Those who harbour enmity against others.
3) Those who habitually consume alcohol.
4) Those who disobey their parents.
5) Those men who wear their trousers etc.below their ankles.
6) Those who commit adultery and murder.
7) Those who sever family ties.
Every Muslim should take stock of oneself and if one is involved in any of the above vices, one should turn to Allah and sincerely implore for forgiveness, lest one be deprived on this night.

SINCERE TAUBAH(REPENTANCE)

Allah Ta'aala says in the Noble Qur'aan: " O you who believe, turn to Allah with sincrere repentance, in the hope that your Lord will remove from you your evil deeds." (Quran: Surah Tahreem - Para 28).
One should turn towards Allah with sincere regret and shame for the sins that one has committed. One should seek Allah's forgiveness for one's sins and make a firm resolution and promise not to commit sin again. However, sins relating to the rights of fellow beings will not be forgiven by mere taubah alone. Allah will only forgive such sins if forgiveness is first sought from the person who had been harmed and a sincere effort to redress the wrong committed against him/her is made.

What should one do on this night?
During this night one should engage oneself in Salaah, Qur'aan Tilaawat, Du'aa, Istighfaar and Zikr, according to one's ability and strength.

PREPARATIONS FOR RAMADHAAN

Nabi(sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) frequently recited the following du'aa: " 0 Allah bless us in Rajab and Sha'baan and make us reach Ramadhaan."

We should earnestly begin preparing for Ramadhaan during this month of Sha'baan by making Istighfaar and cleansing ourselves of sins. We must endeavour to curtail our desires of committing sins, especially with the eyes, ears, tongue, mind and heart. Then we should begin inculcating good practices and bring about a spiritual and moral transformation in our lives in anticipation and eagerness for Ramadhaan.

The virtue of this night as established from Ahaadeeth, is that from the very beginning of the night, Allah Ta'ala turns with special mercy and attention towards the creation and forgives those who repent and seeks forgiveness. Every Muslim should therefore value this night. Turn towards Allah Ta'ala with sincere regret and shame over sins committed and make a firm promise not to return to sin and seek forgiveness from Allah Ta'ala. Have firm hope and resolution in the heart that Allah Ta'ala will surely show mercy and forgiveness. We should value and treasure this night and derive maximum benefit therefrom; remembering to make duaa for the entire Ummah, the living and the deceased. Let us not be deprived of its tremendous blessings due to sheer negligence and indifference.

Sample Image

Nabi SAW read the above dua in sajda on the 15th night of Sha’ban. [Targheeb]

A’uzu bi afwika min iqabik wa auzu bi ridaka min sakhatik wa auzu bika minka la uhsi thanaa an ‘alayka anta kama athnayta ‘ala nafsik.

O Allah! I seek protection through Your forgiveness from Your punishment. I seek protection from Your anger by means of Your pleasure. I seek protection in You from You, I cannot truly praise You, as You ought to be praised, You are as You have praised Yourself.

Click here to listen to a fellow Muslim brother talking about this special night - Masha-Allah !

* So Insha-Allah all brothers and sisters and non-muslim who want to seek Allah(swt) mercy and true guidance should be engaged in prayer in this blessfull night. Feel free to get In-touch with your local Masjid and get more details from your Imam in your area. May Allah(swt) the most high and excellence accept our dua's and repentance and guide us to the best of path which has been chosen for mankind - Ameen !

Jummah Mubarak - Quick Guide !

Asalaam and Hello !

Today ( Friday) is a very special day for muslims...

> Why ?

This a true day of joy for Muslims and they gather together in huge numbers around the world. When i mean huge.... I mean HUGE !

Today when I got ready and set off to pray Jummah Prayer here at my local masjid in the UK - The Masjid ( Mosque) was so full that I and a few brothers were lucky enough to find a place to pray on the road-side , yes dont worry - we did not get run over as there was a lovely non-muslim security officer around the corner that guided the cars that came around - lol.

Also the picture you see on the top right hand corner is a typical example of Masjids getting full on Jummah prayer here in the UK and therefore fellow brothers have no choice but to pray outside or near-by.

Alhumdu-lillah we should be happy where-ever we can find a spot as Jummah Prayer is a Must for all.

While most non-muslim look forward to a friday night drink and club routine, most Muslims pray and do their best to look after families and enjoy good events and moments.

So when its Jummah (Friday) be sure to have a big smile on your face and greet other brothers and sisters with a sincere heart - Ameen !

Jummah Mubrak to all brothers and sisters around the world !

Do we love our brothers and sisters in Islam ? - Quick Guide

Asalaam and Hello !

Today the Quick Guide is on ... Do we love our brothers and sisters in Islam ?

All is praise due to Allah(swt) who created all mankind and chose Islam as the true path for us.

In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

By (the Token of) Time (through the ages),
Verily Man is in loss,
Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds,
and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth,
and of Patience and Constancy.

Dear brothers and sisters in Islam

If we truely love our brothers and sisters in Islam, then we would whole heartly help them into bringing them to prayer and patience. Its not fair when we pray and we leave them behind ! We should always share the struggle and pain with them. We should reflect on life as a test and do our best to bring unity.

The Prophet (SAW) said,

"None of you has Iman (faith) until he desires for his brother (or sister) Muslim that which he desires for himself (or herself)." (Bukhari and Muslim)

May Allah (swt) bless Prophet Muhammad(saw) who showed Mankind many times the best of examples. We should always question ourself ... Are we following his SUNNAH ?

These times are indeed difficult as we can see from around the world and the events that are taking place but did not the messenger of Allah(swt) face difficulty ?

These are few of many questions we should ponder over Insha-Allah and we should always try to be firm in Islam. Allah(swt) loves HIS firm believers even more ! So we should make dua brothers and sisters that we stay loving and supporting and may we seek refuge from competing against each other and building jealousy. May Allah(swt) give us clean hearts and Intentions - Ameen !

Bring back the Prophets Ummah !!!

Muslims - Are we really consuming Halal ? - Quick Guide

Asalaam and hello !

Today we will look at ... Are we really consuming Halal ?

We live in a society where some might decieve us and say that they are Halal but infact might be mis-leading us to make extra money out of us.

So I want to make the Muslim Community where-ever they are in the world to be alert and cautious always to be certain that we are buying halal meat etc.

Here are some steps we can take ...

  • Always see if they have a legal certificate displayed where you can verify that the food is Halal. Most shops do have this displayed and just having a halal sign might not fully justify it.
  • Find out from your local Muslim community in the area and get advice from them. See what they have to say.
  • Communicate with your local Halal provider and dont be scared to ask questions especially if they are non-muslims. You need to make sure that you are buying Halal for you and your families.
  • Get in-touch with your local Masjid and feel free to ask the Imam and brother and sisters there who can further give advice and pin-point who provide authentic halal food in the area.
  • Have a word with your halal provider and if you want to be 100% sure, then you could always make a trip to see where the halal meat is coming from and verify that its delievered according to Islamic conduct.
  • When you are buyinng Halal consumptions at a certain place and see a fellow muslim brother or sister around then jump at the chance to confirm if the place is really providing Halal. Dont be afraid to approach other muslim brothers and sisters as we all should be happy and brave to support and help each other.
  • Finally If your heart feels that you have done your best then leave it there and consume it with good intentions and Allah(swt) is all aware of our good intentions that we seek Halal food for ourself and families and friends - Insha Allah.
Also feel free to check out the following link > HMC ( Halal Monotiring Comitee )

I hope this Quick-Guide has shed some light and reminded us that we need to seek Halal and may Allah(swt) protect us from all Haram and those who try decieving us. May we bring Halal food in our households and may Allah(swt) provide halal food for those in the world who have no food on their plates. May we forever eat Halal - Ameen !

Are Muslims really Terrorists ? - Quick Guide

Asalaam and Hello !

Today we will look at ... Are Muslims really Terrorists ?

Well what can i say....

Islam is a faith of love and peace and perfection. Its sad to see that we live in a society today where some muslims have been brainwashed by fanatics or a conspiracy led towards them.

Muhmmad(saw) was the man who bought the message of Islam and perfected it to mankind ? Right ! Not people who we see making headlines on our screens today. So its sad to judge a whole faith according to a few acts from minorities.

A quote from the Holy Qur'an

'' To take 1 life is like taking the life of Humanity and to save 1 life is like saving the life of Humanity''

When it talks about fighting its only in the means to self-defend you and your families and your true beliefs. Everyone has the right in this world to fight and protect what they dearly believe in. So be that your property or your childrens. We all have the right to self-defence if we get attacked and im sure we all agree on that.

But events like Sept 11'th in America and 7/7 here in my home country Uk are clearly wrong and are carried out by haters who have mis-understood Islam from a good pure heart.

Islam does not permit to take Innocent lives at all cost !

So ok ! Lets say you are in a classroom and 1 boy farts and causes a stinker in the classroom ... Who does the Teacher punish and tell to leave ? The very 1 boy and not the whole classrooom ! It would be completely unfair if the whole classroom got blamed for causing a stinker , when in actual its a few bunch who do it.

The same scenario goes for some Muslims who cause a stinker and then people blaming Islam and the whole Muslim populatuion for causing that stinker. Simply Unfair !

Good Muslims who love Islam dearly and live life abiding by good and honesty and peace will continue to live their lives . So when you see them around in their beards and headscarfs - do not mock them or make faces - Reality is that they have a really nice heart and are living peacefully but its narrow minded people who fail to understand the whole truth from a pure heart.

We are Muslims - Al-humdu-lillah and we all make the difference in the best possible way as this video will show.

Peace Out !

China confident of safe Olympics !

Asalaam and Hello !

Days before the Olympic Games open in Beijing, the Chinese authorities have said they are confident that athletes and spectators will be safe.

This assurance comes after an attack - blamed on separatist Muslim militants - that killed 16 policemen in the western region of Xinjiang.

A spokesman for the organisers said preparations had been made to meet all conceivable threats at Olympic venues.

Meanwhile China has apologised for the beating of two Japanese journalists.

The journalists, a reporter and a photographer, were detained near the site of Monday's attack in Kashgar.

Police held them for two hours and punched them, they said.

Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Qin Gan told a senior diplomat at the Japanese embassy in Beijing that China regretted the incident, Kyodo News agency reported.

Officials and police in Kashgar also apologised for the incident, but accused the two men of breaking rules, Xinhua news agency said.

* Lol its funny to see how serious the chinese police are taking this matter. They seem to be detaining and punching all suspects - lol. I hope the games go safe and nothing serious takes place. Afterall we even have Muslim Nations that are taking part in the Olympics.

China tightens security in Muslim region for Olympics safety !

Asalaam and Hello !

The following source has been taken from Associated Press.

URUMQI, China (AP) — Police shut down a bustling bazaar in the capital of China's restive Muslim region of Xinjiang Friday, tightening security there after an Islamic group seeking independence for the area threatened to attack buses, trains and planes during the Olympics.

In Tokyo, an anonymous bomb threat e-mailed to Air China's Tokyo offices forced a passenger jet to make an emergency return to Japan, the Japanese Transport Ministry said. Four other flights were delayed.

Xinjiang's regional capital Urumqi was on high alert with security guards checking bags at the entrances of hotels, department stores and discos in the busy city the day after a new Olympics threat from the Turkistan Islamic Party — a militant group seeking independence for Xinjiang. A videotape purportedly made by the group warned Muslims to avoid being on planes, trains and buses with Chinese during the Beijing games beginning Friday.

> Read the full story by clicking here

* To be honest I think its sad that such extremist are around who cant let people enjoy such a great event that involves only a competition of sport from different nations. We should pray that the Olympic games stay safe. May Allah(swt) bring peace and protect - Ameen !

Bin Laden ex-driver found guilty !

A US military jury at Guantanamo Bay has convicted Osama Bin Laden's former driver of supporting terrorism.

The verdict on Salim Hamdan is the first to be delivered in a full war crimes trial at the US prison in Cuba. Sentencing begins later on Wednesday.
The jury found Hamdan guilty of five of eight charges of supporting terrorism but acquitted him of two separate, more serious, charges of conspiracy.
The White House said the trial was fair and looked forward to more tribunals.

'Vital role'

Hamdan, a Yemeni, was initially impassive when the verdict began to be read out, but the BBC's Kim Ghattas, at the trial, said he later appeared to break down in tears.

Hamdan, who is about 40 and was captured in Afghanistan in November 2001, faces a maximum life sentence when the sentencing hearing gets under way later on Wednesday. Our correspondent says the case could still go as far as the Supreme Court, if there is an appeal. The jury of six military officers had deliberated for about eight hours over three days in the first US war crimes trial since World War II. The prosecution had said Hamdan played a "vital role" in the conspiracy behind the 9/11 attacks. But defence lawyers said he was a low-level employee. The BBC's Adam Brookes in Washington says US President George W Bush will hope to use the conclusion of the first full trial as evidence that the Guantanamo Bay system does actually work. In its first response, the White House said Hamdan had received a "fair trial". Spokesman Tony Fratto said: "The Military Commission system is a fair and appropriate legal process... We look forward to other cases moving forward to trial." However, defence lawyers had said they feared a guilty verdict was inevitable and that the system was geared to convict.

HAMDAN CHARGES

Conspiracy:
Found not guilty on two counts of conspiring with al-Qaeda to attack civilians, destroy property and commit murder

Providing support for terrorism:
Found guilty on five counts, including being the driver and bodyguard for Osama Bin Laden, a man he knew to be the leader of a terrorist group
Found not guilty on three other counts

'Guilt by association'

Hamdan had admitted working for Bin Laden in Afghanistan from 1997 to 2001 for $200 (£99) a month, but said he worked for wages, not to make war on the US.

The defence said the case was "guilt by association".
But the prosecution said Hamdan was an "uncontrollably enthusiastic warrior" for al-Qaeda.
About 270 suspects remain in detention in Guantanamo Bay.
Among the dozens of other inmates due to be tried there in the coming months are men accused of plotting the 9/11 attacks.
Source: BBC News

* I hope the right terrorists are rooted out and not Innocent men. We still may have Innocent men locked up in Guantanamo Bay. May Allah(swt) help the Innocent brothers and bring their justice soon - Ameen !

Did Islam come only for Arabs ? - Quick Guide

Asalaam and Hello !

Today Is a quick guide on ' Did Islam come only for Arabs ? '

Islam is believed to be the final true religion for MANKIND and not just for Arabs. So next time you think about Muslims - don't picture them as Arabs.

Islam is a faith for all ethnic and nationalities. Its a faith for all colours and people from all backgrounds. As we can see when Hajj takes place, ( Pilgrimage) we see that all walks of life from all around the world come together and dress up in white to represent equality before God.

Prophet Muhammad(saw) also set examples for Mankind and not just for Arabs !

It was his duty to convey the message of Islam from Saudi Arabia as the central and then to spread it to the corners of the world.

Here is a 1 quote of many that always opens refering to ' Mankind ' ...

O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other. Verily the most honored of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you",

Absolutely beautiful ! - Masha-Allah

So remember that Islam is a Universal faith that encourages Unity for us all.

Peace Out !

Top Fatah officials held in Gaza !

A number of top representatives of Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas have been arrested in the Gaza Strip, officials from his Fatah movement say.

Fatah officials Ibrahim Abu Naja and Zakaria Agha were among those detained as part of a continuing Hamas crackdown following a coastal bombing last week.

Mr Abbas appointed the two men to run Fatah in Gaza when the Islamist Hamas seized control of the area in 2007.

Fatah says dozens of its men are being held, but Hamas has not given a number.

A Hamas spokesman said the latest arrests were in response to the detentions of Hamas men in the West Bank.

Beach-side bomb

Mr Abbas had ordered the release of some 200 Hamas members rounded up by West Bank security forces this week, but none have yet been freed, says the BBC's Aleem Maqbool in Ramallah.

Hamas and Fatah battle for power

Both sides arrested large numbers of each other's supporters in the aftermath of a bomb blast in Gaza a week ago, in which five Hamas members and a girl were killed.

The bomb exploded inside a car travelling past a beach where people were enjoying a day by the sea.

Hamas insists the arrests of Fatah members are part of its investigation into the bombing. Fatah denies any involvement in the attack.

The latest detentions show that the tit-for-tat, politically motivated campaigns are continuing, our correspondent says.

* I thinks its sad for Hamas and Fatah to fight each other. They should unite as true soldiers by promoting peace and love together. They should put belief in 1 Ummah !
